About BURLINGTON SOCKS.

Burlington socks began in 1968 in Germany but it wasn’t until 1977 that they became a big hitter in the field of socks, this is when they introduced ‘Argyle socks’ the diamond check pattern became an instant success. In 1985 Burlington add the clip logo was added to its argyle socks and is now the trademark and what people recognise.

Throughout the 80s the Burlington socks proved to be very popular with the casuals and the argyle socks became a compulsory item of clothing in any casuals wardrobe.
