Spring Court was born in 1936 when Frenchman Georges Grimmeisen invented a tennis shoe made from cotton uppers and vulcanised rubber outsole.
In 1952 Spring Court natural ventilation was added to the shoes which is the famous 4 holes in the sole of the shoe and also added a removable insole with arch support.
Now Spring Court pumps are exactly as they were in 1952 and available in various colours and new styles have been added to the Spring Court collection.
John Lennon famously wore a pair of Spring Court Pumps on the front of The Beatles Abbey Road album and now many Lennon wannabes old and young will wear Spring Court footwear as their hero did back in 1969.
