Witness the Fitness... one hope, one quest. Roots Manuva burst onto the UK Hip-Hop scene in 1997 with his distinctly British lyrics of "eating cheese on toast" and "drinking two pints of bitter". Seen as a precursor to the recent 'Grime' sound, he has changed the landscape for British MCs and rappers. 'Witness the Fitness' is the battle cry lyric of the track 'Witness (1 hope)', taken from his second album 'Run Come Save Me'. The track has since been covered by MC Pitman and re-titled 'Witness the Pitness'.
